Another one of my old decks that I've remade. This is a Golgari self mill/self exile deck focused around abusing Dread Defiler's life loss ability.

The goal of the deck is to ramp up quickly with Crypt Ghast (using Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth for maximum effect), Skull Prophet, and Wayward Swordtooth so you can play Dread Defiler early, and also mass-mill yourself to build up exile fodder for Defiler.

The deck has lots of high power, low mana cost creatures (or creatures that can reduce their own mana cost) that make for great on-board threats in the early game, and double as perfect targets for Dread Defiler in the late game. Cityscape Leveler and Honored Hydra in particular are all around great cards for a self-mill deck like this since they can be used while in the graveyard, mitigating the risk of milling all your creatures and getting nothing usable in your hand. Life from the Loam and Tapping at the Window are also great graveyard usable, self-mill spells that help keep your hand topped up with lands and creatures.
