Bester Mann! Neheb, Dreadhorde Champion is my first Commander that I didn't build out of a Precon. I liked him as he was spoiled and he didn't let me down! It's very easy to ramp him out turn 3 with 7/8 2cmc rocks. If you can proc his ability turn 4 I like to discard my whole hand except an expensive creature like Drakuseth, Maw of Flames. To get one more mana I like to NOT play a land before the attack step and hope to draw into one.

In the beginning I just played all the good red cards I could find and it worked surprisingly well. I even had like 42 lands because I didn't have enough cards what made me keep very greedy hands, more often it even worked!! I could keep hands with 1 or 2 lands.

I believe Neheb is a very good budget commander. Even without extra combat steps he can be very powerful. He has cardselection and ramp in his kit so just throw him and your best red cards into a pile and be amazed by him.^^
