Barkshell Blessing

Instant

Target creature gets +2/+2 until end of turn.

Conspire (As you play this spell, you may tap two untapped creatures you control that share a color with it. When you do, copy it and you may choose a new target for the copy.)

Egrystal: Thanks for your advice, and you're right about the Sanctuaries.

But what if I told you I'm trying to build around Emperor Crocodile? lol Basically, that's why I built this deck, to abuse him.

Also, all my pauper decks are in paper, so I actually only own 3x Call of the Conclave & 3x Scion of the Wild. =( So, yeah, I do agree, but... there's that. I also don't think I have any Barkshell Blessings, but I'll look. Thanks. =)

What's with the Barkshell Blessing? You can't conspire because you don't have any green or white creatures, right? There are a number of more efficient pump spells in green anyway.

Hey, I think you could take out some of your cards like Dictate of Heliod and Gaea's Anthem that buff all of your creatures, because only one of your creatures can attack to get the buff from exalted and you will have a bunch of creatues left with buffs that you cant use. Anything that gives a single creature a powerfull buff would be a lot more suited to this deck.

As for cuts I think you could cut Craterhoof Behemoth, it is a good end game card, but if you are only attacking with one creature it would feel kinda wasted. Elesh Norn, Grand Cenobite unless you need the -2/-2 this card will fell kind of wasted. Maby you could also remove Akroma's Memorial this one I feel you could keep because the effect is so strong, but it is quite high cost and you might be able to find something that can do this artifact's job better while only targeting one creature, but I think this is still a perfectly valid card to keep in this deck. Also if you can I think you should cut some of your infect creatures for either utility creatures or draw/tutor power as you don't need to have the 1/1 infects out if you have your 5/5 infects out already, and you certainly don't want to be drawing them, depending on how reliably you can buff your creature. Also I'm not too sure about Blade of Selves because unless it is equiped to Blightsteel Colossus it is not going to be doing much because the tokens dont get any benefits from exalted.

As for possible additions, I think that most of the ajani's are good. Ajani Steadfast has a great +1 ability and if you can get him to -7, it will be hell to kill you from then on. As well as Ajani, Caller of the Pride and Ajani, Mentor of Heroes with theie single target +1/+1 counter(s). Also perhaps some more spells that buff creatures, a good one would be Barkshell Blessing you can tap 2 of your exalted creatures and there you've got a 1 cost +4/+4.

On a side note you could re-word your "Destroy" to removal because only one of the cards actually destroys something. :D

There are probably more things I could recomend but I have already spent an hour on this comment so I hope you understand why I don't continue.

I'd want to pump them after they've been blocked- Barkshell Blessing or Defiant Strike, Plow Through Reito or Steeling Stance, Wojek Siren or Vampire's Bite.

Puresteel Paladin is 5 bucks each, so he's out. I can buy this deck for 7 dollars on TCGPlayer, assuming I do my optimization right, including shipping. Otherwise, he is a very good card.

Armament Master IS what makes this deck shine, but I want my other creatures to scale with the toolkit. Elsewise, my deck will not be as good when I don't manage to draw Armament Master.

Barkshell Blessing is in because it's amazingly mana efficient and cheap to buy. Holy Strength for the same reason.

Just ran into this from main page. Glad you all are bouncing off each other!

A couple quick notes that you're probably picking up on too:Holy Strength???!?!??! Why is this in the deck? Similarly, Barkshell Blessing is not an equipment

Choose your Kor wisely - if the goal is to stack tons of equipment on Armament Master, the other Kor probably shouldn't also want to be equipped. Instead run some generically good Kor like Kor Skyfisher or Kor Bladewhirl.

Random other suggestion:Puresteel Paladin is worth his non-kor status. Draw half your deck, go!
