Description

I wanted to make a cube, which wasn't a power cube, with fairly easy mono coloured tribal synergies, but also containing more complex multi-coloured synergies. This will hopefully make it possible for new magic players pick it up as a stand alone game, making it more of a board game to bring out, rather than a cube for magic players. However the unique blend of unusual tribes, which don't normally get a lot of attention, and hidden strategies within the cube, it's become a blast to play even for experienced magic players.

Tribes/synergies are as follows:

Black: Rats (discard sub theme)

White: Cats (equipment; life gain sub theme)

Blue: Illusions (artifact; clone sub theme)

Red: Dragons (bleeds into black and green)

Green: Wolves

Green White: Enchantments

5 Colour: Scarecrows + Walls + Very powerful 5 colour spells

Lore: Imagine a land covered mostly with desert, with a few patches of dense forest. Dragons fly overhead in the barron lands, and humans cower in impenetrable fortresses. Occasionally a human might attempt to cross the desert to the forest, for what they think to be a safer place to live. The journey is harsh and dangerous, and there's a curse on the sands that turn ones hullucinations real.

Those humans who successfully fight off the illusions and cross the desert are met with those that live there. Wolves and giant rat ninjas lurk the trees. Usually they hunt each other, but quickly turn to any outisders who enter. From the other side of the forest come the Leonin, a race of bipedal cats. The leonin are excellent warriors, and known for their vitality and crafting of weapons.

While it looks bleak for the humans, hope lays within an egg of a dragon hatched within the walls of the humans. This dragon was names Arcades, and was raised by the humans. He keeps them safe, improves their defenses, and in return they provide him with food, and more importantly, gold.

Arcades is confident in the walls keeping them safe, but has concerns about rumors of something in the fields.
