Elementalist's Palette rewards you for playing multiple X spells, contributing a bigger and bigger pile of mana to each subsequent one. How do you ensure you have lots of X spells to toss around, though? You don't want a whole handful of them, since they're going to be pretty worthless when you're low on mana in the early turns.

Look no further than the two X-spells with buyback: Fanning the Flames and Wurmcalling both ensure another casting each turn out of a single spell slot. Blast your opponent with a bigger ball of fire every turn, or accumulate an army of ever-growing wurms, and you're sure to overwhelm any foe simply playing cards on-curve! A handful of other X-spells help fill out your palette and get it producing lots of mana in short order.
