Jeska, Thrice Reborn is a funky new card, being a planeswalker with a variable number of loyalty counters and no way to add counters to her. Clearly this gal needs a little help performing at her best, and that's where the loyal Falthis, Shadowcat Familiar comes in. Falthis grants deathtouch (and menace) to all of your commanders, even if they aren't creatures. Jeska is of course perfectly fine with that, as the inclusion of Deathtouch lets her -1 to destroy any three creatures at will. Once you've cleared out the board, her other ability lets any of your creatures swing for major damage, quickly wearing down your opponents. Of course, Jeska can target any player's creatures, meaning you're also free to triple the damage from Xantcha, Sleeper Agent or any creature holding the Bloodthirsty Blade.
