THE SAC MACHINE CHURNS UNENDING

This deck is a pile of aristocrats cards, cards that care about counters and token generators. Whilst being a primarily aristocrats deck, it can beat down opponents with buffed up creatures. This versatility makes it an experience to pilot for sure.

I'm going to make another Tayam deck that's way more focused and isn't aristocrats. This is just my first attempt at trying to make a sick deck with my weird homie Tayam.

To be honest I don't have much experience piloting this deck, but making sure your pieces are all there is very important. Playing Tayam, Luminous Enigma without being able to be sure he resolves is unadvised. Getting Lightning Greaves on Tayam makes him hard to deal with.

The suite of removal cards this deck runs also helps preventing people stopping your gameplan. Abrupt Decay can be very useful for stopping threats to the deck and allows for more reactionary gameplay alongside the other removal spells. Silence is also great in this deck for that pop-off moment.

  • Luminous Broodmoth. One of my favourite white creatures to ever see print. In this deck it can really go off. With a card like Blood Artist, Tayam, Luminous Enigma and a sac outlet you can deal lots of damage very quick. The blood artist trigger with go off with the first sacrifice, then the card comes back with flying, you remove some counters with Tayam and then all of a sudden it can come back again.

  • Undying fellows. Putrid Goblin and the sort all allow for multiple sacrifices and then Tayam, Luminous Enigma can strip those creatures of their +1/+1 counters, allowing for more regeneration.

  • Blood Artist and co. Cruel Celebrant is another one of these cards that can make the deck throw damage around and start being scary for opponents.

  • Aristocrats things. Just be an aristocrats deck doing aristocrats things! I build all my decks with the intent of playing them in a 4 player environment so sometimes you can sit back and not do anything too powerful then resolve a staple card and explode with a crazy turn.

  • COMBOOOOO! Ashnod's Altar + Promise of Bunrei + Hallowed Spiritkeeper + Tayam, Luminous Enigma is the feature infinite of the deck that can be played if aristocrats isn't going to plan. Using Tayam to dig through the deck to assemble this combo.

  • Beatdown. Since this deck cares so much about counters, tokens and powerful creatures, you can just swing in with pumped up creatures and pray.

  • Tayam, Luminous Enigma is a beast of an Abzan commander and my person favourite legendary creature (probably). I just want to make a deck that exploits him and my next deck is ALSO gonna be Tayam but instead it'll be a beatdown aggro deck instead of aristocrats. Hopefully that deck will be more focused smh...
PROS: This deck is very fun (for me at least). It has explosive turns and does a decent amount of interactive things that make politics and interactions more interesting. Also it's built around a commander I really enjoy playing.

CONS: Not very focused. It wants to be an aristocrats deck, a tokens deck and a beatdown deck at the same time and I'm not a good enough brewer at this current time to truly balance all these aspects. Also the deck is pretty reliant on Tayam (but it can function without him) so removing him is a major setback. Considering there are no counterspells (no blue mana), better hope your table doesn't see Tayam as a threat.

I'd say this is a mid power deck that at points does very high power things. Honestly, I'm not a huge fan of this which is why I'm going to make another Tayam deck because doing scary things once every 4 games makes the table think you're a bigger threat than you actually are. This will mean less fun for you! Still, the deck is very fun to pilot and I enjoy playing it regardless of the occasional stale game without any powerful plays.
