Maybeboard

Patriarch's Bidding is great fun, letting you haul out an entire army of whatever tribe you want in one fell swoop. The problem is... so does your opponent. If you happen to be facing down another tribal deck (not too unusual these days!) then you run the risk of helping him just as much as yourself.

Enter Thundercloud Shaman. Giants are a great pick for the Bidding, mostly being huge fatties with prohibitive mana costs. The Shaman clears a path when you bring your whole crew back, however, blasting all of your opponent's brand new creatures for major damage if you manage to bring back a couple Shamans and a few other giants. Doomskar Titan lets your newfound army immediately get to swing at your opponent's empty board, killing him on the spot or bringing him perilously close. Bonecrusher Giant holds the fort while you fill your graveyard and Kroxa is another giant who plays nicely with the graveyard strategy. Play him early for something to do, get a little bonus value if you bring him back with the Bidding, or even pay his Escape cost if you keep discarding all the wrong stuff!
