adm Interesting suggestions, thank you. As much I would love to run Volt Charge, it is not Pioneer legal and I am already running Chandra's Regulator.

Some recommendations I would consider are Volt Charge, Chandra's Regulator, Chandra's Phoenix, and Oath of Chandra for good measure. Torbran, Thane of Red Fell has dropped in price and would be a powerhouse in this deck. It’s geared towards EDH, but https://edhrec.com/themes/planeswalkers/r is still a great source of ideas even in Pioneer / family fun decks. Good luck!

I think that you should replace Burning Sands with Zealous Conscripts since the Sands conflicts with Kiki-Jiki and adding the Conscripts gives you a potential combo win condition.

You could also run Karn, the Great Creator to combo with Mycosynth Lattice, locking down your opponents' lands and mana rocks. You could possibly replace Tectonic Instability for Karn.

You probably need some more card draw too, although it's kind of hard to find efficient fits. Endless Atlas is pretty good but doesn't work as well alongside the spells that also destroy your own lands. Mazemind Tome helps but can only be activated a few times. Chandra's Regulator is card filtering.

Yeah, I'm trying to figure out how to make it more consistent. If it gets a good opening hand it's a really strong deck. But lacking much in the way of card draw hurts, with only Chandra to help dig. If I could figure out a way to fit in Chandra's Regulator, that would help.

I think that looks good, barring a slight semantic change. The semicolon after the and the comma after "ability" should both be periods:

Whenever you activate a loyalty ability of a planeswalker, you may pay . If you do, copy that ability. You may choose new targets for the copy.

(See both Mirari and Chandra's Regulator).

The complete card list for this set has been revealed!

Apart from the cards that were previously revealed, the remaining six cards are:

Cathartic Reunion

Fiery Confluence

Pyroblast

Pyromancer Ascension

Rite of Flame

Young Pyromancer

Most of the cards in this set are nice, with only one or two feeling like filler, to me (which was the purpose of the Signature Spellbook series, since too many From the Vault sets had cards that were clearly less valuable or powerful than the other cards). Fiery Confluence is the best card in this set, since it was the most expensive, and, thus, in most need of a reprint, but none of the others were very rare or valuable, although that does not mean that they are filler.

Cathartic Reunion was an excellent choice, and the new artwork on Pyromancer Ascension is very nice, but why did WotC choose Pyroblast instead of Red Elemental Blast, when Signature Spellbook: Jace contained Blue Elemental Blast. Also, how could they not have chosen Chandra's Ignition for this set? The artwork that was used on Rite of Flame would have been perfect for that card, especially since RoF has no real connection to Chandra, because the flavor text relates to the ignition of her planewalker spark, and because the artwork clearly shows her planeswalker spark igniting.

The lack of Chandra's Regulator is very disappointing, since I think that that card would have looked great with the frame style that this set has, and I cannot understand why Young Pyromancer was not given new artwork, because, while the card is clearly meant to depict Chandra as a child or adolescent, the character looks nothing like Chandra.

What does everyone else say about this? What do you think of the card list for this set?

One of the cards in this set shall be an artifact, so I believe that it is safe to presume that it shall be either Chandra's Regulator or Pyromancer's Goggles.

psionictemplar: Thanks a lot for the comment. I actually dropped the land count recently after adding Fires of Invention. No card on the deck costs more than five mana, so I can basically stop playing lands at some point. That actually makes Chandra's Regulator quite useful.

Regarding Chandra's Phoenix: I don't play enough damage spells to make it worthwhile, so I'll pass on that.

If you happen to have more ideas, I'd love to hear them. The fires gave the deck quite a boost, but it's still weirdly slow for a red deck.
