Deck History

Okay, so... wow.

After 6 years in the making and 3 years since the last update on this site A LOT happened so much so that when I looked at the old build I actually thought "this looks neat" and wanted to rebuild a bit of THAT again. I didn't want to disrupt the old Deckbuild though given it was also tagged for Duel Commander and figured... I'd just give the Multiplayer Variant it's own Copy to go crazy on :)

This is not a new Deck, it's just... that the old build is still dear to me

The most prevalent change since all these years were lots and lots of artifacts which, while good, can't really be tutored and kind of disrupt the flow. You can see a selection of them in the Maybeboard. With this current list I tried to focus more on a creature-based deck. :) The old Control Win-Conditions such as Winter Orb or Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger are also making a comeback. I had them temporarily removed for stirring up a lot of salt, but at the rate, our decks have evolved (especially given the power-creep of recent years), this deck does at least need a panic button (and no, the Eldrazi do not count)

I'm also putting Riftsweeper on my radar, because recently the modern sets have begun to play A LOT MORE with Exile (Kaya, Oko, The Wolf from the new Set...)
