What is a Rookie Deck?
A Rookie Deck is made specifically for new MTG players. I designed this deck to be played against my other rookie decks. Feel free to use this list to construct a fun and simple deck perfect for introducing newcomers to MTG. All of my rookie decks contain 24 basic lands, 24 creatures, and 12 non-creature spells.
What is the Noble Format?
Noble is an alternate ruleset for MTG. Each deck contains a single rare (or mythic) as their Noble Card. The Noble Card is put into the command zone at the start of the game and can be played as it it were in the player's hand. A deck may include up to four uncommon cards and the remaining cards must be commons. This makes the decks very affordable, and it will ensure that players will be able to play their rare card every game.
