Experiment in trying to build a scrying matters type deck, lots of LOTR themes because I'm a fan, but I understand it will drop my powerlevel a bit. I'm also trying to keep it under $250, but I'm well under that budget atm. Counters will abound regardless of what I do, so I should probably think of this more as a counters deck with topdeck themes.

Current issues include not activating Galadriel's ability often enough, so I'm seeking ways to trigger creature etb effects on opponents turns and/or create creatures with instants or good flash creatures. I would like to steer away from blinking because creatures will lose counters, but its fine if the blink activates both the creatures ability and Galadriels such as Galadriel, Light of Valinor + Pollenbright Druid

Another issue is that of proper ramp, which I will tackle first, see below.

Lastly I need win conditions that are better defined than "idk elfball or something"

The Problem of Ramp: I'm pretty new to magic and this is my first deck built from scratch. Landwise I think I did ok and I get the colors I need, but so far my decks tend to fail to come online fast enough for the meta around me. In particular getting my commanders out early enough for them to have an impact.

Bant has green, I can and should ramp which is why Gift of Paradise and Fertile Ground are in this deck (had them lying around). But I'd rather get lands onto the battlefield ala Rampant Growth, but I'm not sure what specific form and CMC of land ramp I should be looking for.

Cutlist:

Gandalf, Westward Voyager Sorry to cut one of the 3 individuals who have seen the light of Valinor, but he doesn't do enough with my spells costing so little.

Greenweaver Druid to make room for Elvish Archdruid, as it still provides ramp but the anthem is a nice bonus.

Sigarda's Summons to make room for some other win condition, plus 10 enchantments feels like a lot.

The Bath Song if I'm consistently activating my commanders ability I'll be drawing plenty, so I'm going to cut some of the card draw instants, sorceries, and this saga enchantment. The blue mana at the end is nice but goes away before my main phase, which is unfortunate

Horses of the Bruinen as nice as it is to bounce things, draw cards and have the ring tempt me, I'm sure there is a better 5 mana spell that could use this slot.

Skycloud Expanse too many filter lands, so lets take out the Azorius one.

Cirdan the Shipwright big mana slot and doesn't do enough to further my gameplan

Mirror of Galadriel yeah I have legendaries to spare, but I won't always have enough to make the ability worth it and Galadriel does this anyways.

Glorfindel, Dauntless Rescuer The modal triggered ability is nice but I don't have a way to give him trample, menace or doublestrike.

Hithlain Knots Galadriel does it anyway. Opt gets to stay because is only 1 mana.

Tamiyo's Epiphany to make room for a board wipe, again Galadriel will start scrying for us.
