This deck is going to be my new all in deck. I wanted to build this deck because I built a high powered Vishgraz, the Doomhive commander deck. However, the deck was so all over the place with token generation, blink effects, and aristocrat style cards that it didn't do any of those well enough to succeed. However, then the compleat edition bundle I preordered came in and I pulled oil-slick raised foil Elesh Norn, Mother of Machines and Sword of Forge and Frontier. I wanted a deck that could use both cards but mainly the elesh norn. I attempted to create elesh norn blink deck with her at the helm. However, I wanted it to focus on token generation and the average CMC was really high. Thus, I scrapped it because mono-white is terrible for ramp. That being said maybe i'll still build it in paper later on. But for right now. Cadric, Soul Kindler is my main squeeze, and doubling down with heavy hitters is the theme here.

Any tips would be appreciated!

first play throughs

The first few play throughs I did I noticed I had huge mana problems. Boros is hard to ramp with. However, I added a bunch of mana ramping cards that have helped a lot. Primarily Dockside Extortionist and Jeska's Will. They both helped me clean up a game multiple times. Especially if you give dockside Myriad and attack with him it’s pretty busted.

Second Play Throughs

I played this deck with my friends over the last weekend. The deck feels pretty dependent on Cadric, Soul Kindler being on the battlefield. Without him the deck feels very handicapped. I decided to add more protection with spells such as Rebuff the Wicked and Mother of Runes. With the protection additions, I am hoping that he will be able to stay on the battlefield long enough for us to pop off. Additionally, I added more sustainable card draw with cards like Ellyn Harbreeze, Busybody, The Immortal Sun. I also tried to reduce the average CMC of the deck as much as I can. I removed Legion Loyalty because paying 8 mana for an enchantment just never felt okay to me. I get the effect would be massive, but if you don't have cadric on the battlefield or mirrorbox you're so screwed with this in your hand. I also removed Jaxis, the Troublemaker because it just felt really bad to play this card early right before cadric got blown up and I couldn't afford to discard a card.
