It's-it's- a phoenix blitz! Prepare to throw every creature at your opponents, then sacrifice them for endless value! This variation on Henzie has a focus on Blitzing the wonderfully recursive phoenixes for repeatable value. While some of out feathery friends are a bit more specific on how they reanimate themselves, there are a few tutors to help out in that department.

Because Blitz forces us to sacrifice our creatures, we won't be having them on defense. To prevent ourselves from dying quickly, there are a total of 6 sweepers in the deck. Don't be afraid to nuke the board if things get sketchy. Our creatures are still valuable in the graveyard, and our commander only gets stronger with each cast. Outside of sweepers, we have a good number of spot removal spells to take care of problem creatures. The few removal creatures also work well with Blitz by replacing themselves after we get our value from them.

With all the big creatures and high likelihood of having to replay our commander a few times, we have a quite a bit of ramp. Most of this ramp is land based, as mana creatures or artifacts aren't as reliable as putting more lands on the field.
