Autumn-Tail arms dealing for fun and profit

Commander / EDH Mono-White

Alkadron

Maybeboard

Autumn-Tail   is not legendary enough to be a legal commander, but we can bend some rules, 'cause she's super fun!

The deck's pretty straightforward: put auras on things then move them around all over the place. If something's attacking you, put Heart of Light on it. (Better plan: put Heart of Light on Palisade Giant .) If something's attacking an opponent, put Armored Ascension on it.

Move Ghostly Possession or Temporal Isolation onto one of your attackers. After blockers are declared, move them elsewhere.

Put Angelic Destiny on your opponents' creatures, and leave them there as long as they don't attack you. Be the arms dealer you always dreamed of being. Then swap the Angelic Destiny to Autumn-Tail herself so you can deliver the game-ending commander-damage beatings.

It's good times, for sure.

UPDATE: I have played this deck a bunch now and it exceeds my expectations almost every time.

THINGS THAT FEEL LIKE THEY SHOULD NOT WORK BUT DEFINITELY WORK:

  • Autumn-Tail can move auras onto creatures with hexproof and shroud.

  • Spirit Link always gives life to whoever controls the enchantment (you), not whoever controls the creature.

  • If two things are attacking you, you can put Ethereal Armor (first strike) AND Ghostly Possession on one of them to prevent it's damage during the first-strike step, then move Ghostly Possession to the other creature to prevent it's damage as well.

  • If Captured by the Consulate is on the field and someone plays a spell, Captured triggers. You can respond to the trigger by moving it somewhere else, let the trigger resolve modifying the spells targets, then move Captured again. It's very silly.

  • Soul Tithe triggers during the upkeep of the creature's controller. You can respond to that trigger by moving it, and whoever controls the creature it ends up on has to pay. It's a good way to get rid of big threats.

  • If One large thing is attacking you, put Sandskin on it. If lots of little things are attacking you, put Sandskin onto a Guardian of the Gateless or a Palisade Giant .

  • Actually, you can put just about anything on Palisade Giant or Protector of the Crown and it gets silly. Damage Prevention, Indestructibility, Protection from Creatures... it all gets fairly out of hand.

  • Encourage people to attack each other by giving their creatures vigilance and pro-creatures . Pass the auras around so everyone attacks everyone else.
