Laura Ingalls Wilder once wrote "a nightmare is not so terrible as that night was. A nightmare is only a dream, and when it is worst you wake up. But this was real and Laura could not wake up. She could not get away from it." Well, this deck tries to emulate exactly that - a deck that needs to be dealt with or you will not be able to get away from Umbris and the rest of the living nightmares that make up this Nightmare and Horror tribal deck. When dreamers wake from their nightmares, the monsters are left behind - well, the opponent is forced to face the monsters sitting right in front of them.

This deck has Dream subthemes and a loss of sanity subtheme as both are extremely fitting. Without dreams, nightmares and horrors cannot be born nor thrive and with a loss of sleep - either through fear of sleeping or of no longer being able to discern between dreams and reality - comes a steady degradation in the loss of one's mental stability and sadness.
