I would try cutting back on some of the single use token producers and focus more on repeatable token production. Custodi Soulbinders and Twilight Drover are some great repeatable token producers I see in your maybeboard that I think should totally make the main deck. Baku Altar is kind of mediocre, but is another way to repeatably generate spirit tokens.

There are a lot of great spirit effects that trigger off of casting spirit spells, and I think a great way to synergize with this is self-bounce effects. Nikko-Onna is repeatable enchantment removal that also triggers on cast effects. Nebelgast Herald can tap down opposing creatures, either to protect you from attacks or to tap down potential blockers. Sire of the Storm lets you draw cards off of your spirits, and Bygone Bishop does the same for all your cheap creatures. Spectral Shepherd lets you repeatably bounce your own spirits, whether to save them from removal or just reuse their etb effects. Celestial Kirin is a great piece of repeatable removal triggering off of your spirit casts. Another great way to bounce your own spirits is Crystal Shard. It can also disrupt your opponents by forcing them to leave up a mana (2 if you attempt to bounce at eot and again on your turn) to prevent their creatures from being returned to hand.

Cybersix on Kamigawa Spirit Deck

I tried to make this deck in Grixis with Tetsuo Umezawa, and I gotta ask how Baku Altar and Thief of Hope are working out for ya, they kinda suck in my deck but I keep on hoping that He Who Hungers will finally go off with Baku Altar like it should...

Suggestions: Get the other honden and missing Myojins. Get That Which Was Taken to make Myojin of Night's Reach a "Do you really wanna keep playing?" card.
