This is an Avacyn, Angel of Hope Voltron style deck. Trying to get out Avacyn as fast as possible before equipping her and hopefully smacking down my opponents via commander damage. Most cards are divided into these categories: Ramp, Card Draw (for as far as that is accessible in mono-white), Equipment, Equipment Synergy, Wraths, Single Target Removal and Protection, because we don't want someone Swords to Plowsharing our Avacyn after we spent a whopping 8 mana to get her onto the battlefield. Many of them also overlap in some of these categories (Mask of Avacyn is both Equipment and Protection, for example). I put more pieces of ramp in this deck than normal because I want to get Avacyn out as soon as possible. Too bad card draw is so sucky in mono white.

So after playtesting this deck in actual combat, I found out the main weakness of this deck so far is that you can be kicked out of the game early, right before or right after you get Avacyn out on the field. At least in my playgroup decks where attacking is important are quite popular, and removal for Avacyn is quite rare, so just in case anyone trying out this deck has a similar experience, I have added quite a few Holy Day effects in the Maybeboard. Other than the aforementioned card, I'd mostly recommend Kami of False Hope, Ethereal Haze, Mandate of Peace and Riot Control, but others might be better based on personal preference and circumstance.

Avacyn: Angel of Achievements Show

There are a few achievements to be done with this deck;

Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Mask of Avacyn + Moonsilver Spear = Fully Geared Up Avacyn

Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Grafted Exoskeleton = 1 hit Infect KO Avacyn

Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Inquisitor's Flail + Pariah's Shield = Martyr Avacyn

Avacyn, Angel of Hope + Worldslayer = Wrath of Avacyn

Turn One Avacyn Show

Since Commander Legends came out I have noticed it became possible to cast Avacyn on turn one. You'll need 4 specific cards in your opening hand, but if you want to be really secure about it, you'll need 6.

1) Ancient Tomb

2) Sol Ring

3) Mana Crypt

These 3 together generate 5 colourless mana turn 1. Now we'll need the new card from Commander Legends:

4) Jeweled Lotus

With these 4 cards you can get 5 colourless and 3 white mana, enough for Avacyn, Angel of Hope. Now what do we need those other two cards for? Protection, of course! You don't want your turn one Avacyn to run into a turn one Swords to Plowshares or Path to Exile, that would be bad. So for the remaining 2 cards:

5) Lotus Petal

6) Apostle's Blessing

You could of course also use any other protection effect, but I like Apostle's Blessing because it only costs a single colourless mana and two life to cast, and can grant protection against artifacts as well if needed. Something like a Rebuff the Wicked might also work nicely in this spot. And of course Not of this World would save you a card in process..., bringing the total of cards needed to 5.

I personally don't run this, because, well, Mana Crypt and Jeweled Lotus are very expensive cards, but I do want to let you know it is possible. If you have any improvements to this turn 1 Avacyn be sure to let me know!
