I knew there had to be something up with that thrush in ep2. I'm glad Karn figured it out and I'm glad that it helped him force the Phyrexians into the open.

That was some good body horror. I gasped a few times. Very well written. I'm psyched.

Both chapters have been great so far. Extremely excited to see how the rest plays out (even though I fear for a personal favorite character of mine and their inevitable fate).

I felt really bad for Karn at the peace talks assembly. Everyone was so quick to ignore his warnings and then panicked when Teferi said the same thing. Like Commander Shepherd warning The Council about the Reapers in Mass Effect.

Also, can we assume that the art in chapter two of Karn holding the Sylex is for an actual Sylex card? If so, I'm HYPED!

At this point I'm most afraid of Ajani getting compleated. He ran off alone so I'll be super suspicious of him when next we see him.

The tension that chapter three had was insane. I had literally no idea who to trust the entire time I was reading it. I suppose it should've been obvious that that non-established character was the Phyrexian in disguise, though. Regardless, really loving this so far and excited to see what happens in the final two chapters now that the story has opened up.

I agree with KBK. This story just keeps getting better. I hope we'll actually get to see some Devastation instead of all this Solitary Confinement though XD

I like part 3. It is like John Carpenter's 'The Thing'

I suspected Jodah. The way he kept going on about it not being true and references to the Academy in previous parts were what clued me in. Won't be surprised if he turned out to be one anyway.

The level of suspense in the tower was intense. I felt like I was watching a horror-thriller movie where you really have no idea who can be trusted.

I've never personally read the stories of the old Phyrexian invasion, only synopses. It's amazing how hard hitting it is this level of not knowing how things might turn out. It really feels like everyone's plot armour shields are down and anyone could be fair game for a truly horrific fate. Did the old stories feel like this? It is fascinating to see the Magic story come into this kind of space, but I'm glad it doesn't do it too often.

Also, in other news we finally have a confirmation of who the Raven Man is and some idea of his goals for Liliana. Probably one of the most anticipated loose threads of the last decade of Magic lore.

The main story reminds me of the movie Screamers, based on a couple of short stories by Phillip K. Dick.

Wow, that's a hard-hitting conclusion.

Agreed. Phyrexia forever. :'(

Ajani getting compleated was a moment of irony where you could see it coming but hoped beyond hope that it wouldn't be true. Him immediately killing Jaya came just like the double-bladed axe gut punch he gave her.
