I consider myself more of a casual gamer although I've been getting a lot more into the competitive scene at my local comic book store with drafts, standard and modern formats. I originally got into magic when the eldrazi came out and that is still my favorite theme. I love the big drops but I have been adjusting for more early game recently as it seems to be more consistent.
