As a fairly new player (started in 2015) who mostly plays modern with a consistent group of 2-6 friends I mostly use this site to research card's, decks and strategies I'm not aware of and also to design my own modern/casual decks.

At the moment I have only two proper "competitive" decks, one is a Dimir (Blue/Black) mill strategy that focuses on bringing out Consuming Aberration or Nighthowler and using Essence Harvest or Artful Dodge to end the game after some intense milling. The second is a white green strategy revolving around unique white/green creatures, Concerted Effort and Odric, Lunarch Marshal. The deck primarily uses these low mana creatures to overpower the opponent, slow down the game and give other creatures abilities such as indestructible, trample and lifelink.

At the moment I'm attempting to build a Modern deck that can win a majority of games within my localised group of friends but also potentially make a dent at my local FNM comp. The deck is a Golgari scavenge deck that aims to use high powered, low mana creatures to power up unblockable and hexproof creatures in order to one hit kill the opponent. Please feel free to give me feedback regarding the deck - Death's Only the Beginning
