Can you cast spells again after an Epic card leaves the battlefield?

Asked by Mrs.Vanguard6789 8 years ago

so I am going to be putting Eternal Dominion in a mind control deck of mine. And I was just wondering if the epic ability stays the whole game since it says for the rest of the game. Or if when the card leaves the battlefield for whatever reason that means I can play spells again so I can put another one out, etc. Thanks for listening to/answering my silly question.

Instant and Sorcery spells never enter the battlefield in the first place. They're placed on the stack, and once they resolve, they move to the graveyard, unless something says otherwise such as Dryad Militant.

Once you cast a spell with Epic and it resolves, you can't cast any more spells that game. You only get copies of the Epic spell on each of your upkeeps.
