Hi all -

I have been building a website in my spare time wherein you paste a deck link and it gives you a "salt score" based on the aggregated salt values of cards in your deck list.

It's a personal project and I have no aims to monetize it with ads or anything... I just think the topic is hilarious and would like to give back to the community in some way.

You can just copy/paste your tapped out deck entry to get the score.

I haven't gotten around to submitting combos to commander spellbook yet, so it isn't going to recognize all the combos in the deck if you are still using that for recognition. But both it and the Tayam deck (https://www.commandersalt.com/#/details/deck/b65e5a7526220a2af4d3d2ee7a0cbdc1) can be used to test out your new ratings. Once I ensure that all combos are listed on commander spellbook both of those decks should rate pretty high.

so i think there was an issue where i wasn’t getting all of the combos available from commanderspellbook.

Hi grumbledore, I know you have plenty on your plate from things we've all been reporting to you, but I wanted to bring a few more things to your attention:

  • Decks with Maybeboards that are from Archidekt seem to have the Maybeboard factored/calculated in as if they were a part of the 99 for that deck.

  • Aggravated Assault was listed as a Ramp card, and not an Aggro card.

I know you made an update to categorize more cards a couple days ago, but in addition to other Uncategorized I previously mentioned, the following also lack categories:

Crow-Umbra - man thanks for getting me all that info. ive been totally obsessed on the combos haha. but im going to look at these next :D

Yes, that is scoring both all-in combo decks much more accurately. It may have actually corrected ever so slightly into scoring them too high. But you might want to get some more opinions on that. Overall I see them as being ranked extremely close to how I describe them in rule 0 discussions.

Crow-Umbra - i just pushed a bunch of rules fixes for card categorization based on your feedback :) some things like Birgi are broken still due to underlying import issues around mdfc/flip cards. hopefully ill be able to get to that soon hah.

thanks again for all of the help! no idea how i would have caught all of those on my own

Thank you for the updates grumbledore! I'll poke around & see if I notice anything that's uncategorized, or maybe broke in the process. I'll keep you posted.
