A brief synopsis: This is my attempt at golem tribal. It has a few kinks that need working out, above are my point form building notes I'm considering. I'm finding it very hit and miss, at times it's slow and clunky yet others it is great unless facing 'boardwipes.dec'. That being said it is very creature oriented while trying to mix artifact synergies. If you have suggestions please also suggest what to remove as well. Ignore the Description below, its merely a skeleton of an empty accordion for now.

These are the changes I have managed to make so far. I will add any others that come along via suggestion or testing.

Out --> In

Dread Statuary --> Karn's Bastion: Produce the same mana, same activation cost, different/possibly more relevant ability.

Guardian Idol --> Everflowing Chalice: Produces the same for the same 2cmc cost, lose a man for a proliferate target.

Foundry Inspector --> Coalition Relic: Not even sure if it was a good switch but seemed logical.

Mycosynth Golem --> Saheeli, the Gifted: Not quite the same, but more budget friendly and more choices.

These are the least performing cards of the deck so far as I can tell. If you have other suggestions, let me know in the comments.

Copper Gnomes: always seems to come too late to the party. Mostly used as sacrificial fodder than it's own ability.

Cryptic Gateway: In all my testing/playing I have yet to even see this card... .

Brass Herald: Seems to whiff alot, also high cost for a slightly better Adaptive Automaton.

Altar Golem: Subjective to the entire board state. Less shiny after a wipe, also reliant on untap effects.

Maul Splicer: being 1/1 seems very vulnerable for the ability it provides.

Colossus of Akros: slow and expensive..

Platinum Emperion: it's ok, but in the interest of reducing the budget line, it's best to replace it.

Colossus of Sardia: slow and expensive, reliant on untap effects.

Tomb of the Spirit Dragon: been thinking of dropping lands count by 1 and this seems the likely candidate.

These are the cards I'm pretty sure of. I think they could have some productivity in the main board, but like always I never know what to switch out. Anything else not mentioned I'm not sure of yet, you could try convincing me...

Energy Chamber: Makes things grow either in size or charges. As we move towards more cards with charge counters it makes sense to include.

Lux Cannon: another item with charge counters and an addition to out removal.

Smothering Tithe: Adds to both ramp and artifact count.

Tezzeret the Seeker and/or Tezzeret, Artifice Master: Seeker's +1 is more relevant than the rest, but it's helpful considering our slower golems. With Master we can make tokens, draw cards, and aim for the ultimate.

Evolution Sage: Landfall: Proliferate. Sure. Question is are we keeping green as a color?.

It has been suggested that we trade for . To do this we would switch Thrasios for Silas Renn, Seeker Adept. On that note if you have any suggestions on this I'd be happy to hear them.

Suggestions

Updates Add

So Ich-Tekik, Salvage Splicer, Maelstrom Colossus, and Phyrexian Triniform are new and interesting things which seems to be a nice step in the 'Golem Tribal' direction. Also there is Armix, Filigree Thrasher to consider (I know, black... hold on). I've already been thinking of switching colors, but not down to 2 from 4, so it stands to question 'who goes in the 98' or even makes the cut.

On the changing colors I'm struggling with the choice of what to drop, especially now that Ich-Tekik is here. Green was the low man on the pole so to speak, but green offers ramp, proliferation, and trample enablers, on top of the new partner. I can't find much benefit to adding black save for tutors and recursion. I'm thinking Bant is the color combination to go with, however red has alot to offer artifacts, and that would make Ishai, Ojutai Dragonspeaker would be the only partner available if using Ich Tekik. Goes with the proliferation theme, and similar to Akiri in a power escalation sense.

So needless to say I could use a little help with this issue. Also adding cards to maybe board both new and cards I may have missed or reconsidered.
