The point of this deck is to abuse Heartless Hidetsugu's ability to cut opponent's life in half, along with other damage dealing cards to end the game. It is effective in 1v1 play and in group play. Furthermore, due to the fact that in group edh games you will be a target, Heartless has the capability of nuking the game, killing everybody including yourself if need be.
