LAST UPDATE: 20/05/2024 - Before Modern Horizons III

When tearing apart my The Mimeoplasm, I ended up with a lot of interesting or creatures and dimir cards that had no new home. Being a deep reanimator fan myself, I started looking for a new commander that could host the cards and general strategy. When I stumbled upon Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator, I realized that it's ability allows me to fill my graveyard for reanimation targets, whilst thinning my deck.

For years, I tried to add Doomsday as a hidden or ''Plan B'' wincon in a deck and felt that I had the proper shell with this decks because of the numerous creatures that draw/discard that easily fuel the reanimator strategy whilst thinning the deck for combo pieces. I purposefully stayed away from tutors in the deck to make the ''plan B'' less obvious and also becaus eall my copies of Demonic, Vampiric and Grim Tutors are in my Meren of Clan Nel Toth and Mazirek, Kraul Death Priest

1- Use Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator's ability (and other cards similar effects) to fill graveyard for reanimation targets whilst skinning our decks to setup combo for plan ''b''.

2- Use cards like Dimir Infiltrator, Drift of Phantasms or deck:Dimir Machinations (RAV) to fetch Doomsday.
3- Cast Doomsday and perfectyl stack remaining library with key cards
1.Use Vohar, Vodalian Desecrator's ability to draw first card of stack. This card could be, Demonic Consultation, Spoils of the Vault, Tainted Pact.
2. Name the last card in the stack, strategically naming Thassa's Oracle, or Laboratory Maniac.
3. Cast key cards enumerated in point ''2''
4. Activate another draw ability available like Merfolk Looter
