Modern Competitive Death's Shadow Delver Tempo UB (Dimir)

Hi! This is a Delver/Death's Shadow hybrid deck that I've been working on since the release of Zendikar Rising. Normally, you don't see Delver of Secrets   and Death's Shadow in the same deck in Modern because the overall instant/sorcery spell count is too low to support Delver after adding 4 Street Wraith and Mishra's Bauble for Shadow. However, with the addition of the modal spell/land cards from Zendikar, you can make up for the lost spell slots with lands that flip Delver! The flip lands in question, Sea Gate Restoration   and Agadeem's Awakening  , also let you pay life to have them come in untapped, which essentially gives the deck mono-colour bolt lands that activate both Delver and Death's Shadow.

I used a Legacy UB Shadow list as a base for this build since Legacy Shadow plays Delver as well. The inclusion of Delver means this deck has more threats than stock Modern UB Shadow lists, which is one of the biggest problems that deck has. Delver also encourages a heavier blue splash, which lets us play Force of Negation for immediate protection after tapping out to deploy threats. Also note that you can pitch Sea Gate Restoration   to Force if you're flooding out or don't want to ditch any of your blue spells.

There's one more interaction I want to highlight: Mishra's Bauble and Delver of Secrets  . If you have both in your opener, Bauble will let you see the top of your deck on your opponent's turn, then on your upkeep, the Bauble draw trigger and the Delver trigger go on the stack simultaneously, which lets you order them how you want. If the card on top isn't an instant or sorcery, you can order it so the Bauble trigger resolves first, drawing the card and giving you a fresh blind flip for Delver. This is great for increasing turn 2 Delver flip consistency.
