This is my take on a combo deck built around the Persist ability. For those of you who don't know, the combo involves a Persist creature (Safehold Elite), a way to remove the -1/-1 counters (Melira, Sylvok Outcast) and a free sacrifice outlet (Altar of Dementia). The deck has a ton of redundancy with access to many cards that function in the combo and many tutors to increase consistency. Both Board the Weatherlight and Ancient Stirrings can find any piece of the combo, although they are limited to the top five cards of the deck. Summoner's Pact can find a Persist creature and Melira, Sylvok Outcast but should only be used when you are guaranteed to go off that turn. I want to keep the deck relatively budget (no more that $300). I would love any help/feedback.
