Hello everybody. It's internet funny guy back with another funny magic deck. Might be a controversial thing to say, but in the current meta, I personally thing that having Hexproof isn't as much of a buff as you think. Tron doesn't care, and while Bogle decks can protect against Sacrifice Affects well, they can't save themselves from Mass Aura Removal. In fact, most Bogle games get folded in half with one spell, because there is literally no way to protect yourself from these kind of spells in pauper. Until now.

Introducing Remove Enchantments. Wait, come back; I will tell you how this magic card is good. They say "Reading the Card Explains the Card", however this might be an exception. Look, the card is an eyesore and the Oracle Text doesn't help much either. Instead, I'll summarize it for you and save the pain for both of us. Essentially, this card bounces all your enchantments than checks to see if your opponent is attacking you. If they are, blow up all of theirs. Yea, card is brutal. Anyway, this card can blow out a normally devastating boardwipe while giving us value.

The Gameplan:

Our Gameplan is to suit a Magus of the Mask or a secondary Aura Gnarlid with enough pants to fill a damn Goodwill. Essentially, spam spammy Auras onto a Champion of the Flame with a secondary Aura Gnarlid in the back for support. We can also just play Remove Enchantments to bounce our cantrip auras for value, or save it and simply go beatdown with Ancestral Mask and Ethereal Armor. However, I find it best to try and go for a turn 2-3 Champion and go super aggro. We can use Heliod's Pilgrim as a kind of toolbox, finding Shielding Plax for hexproof or Cartouche of Strength for removal. In the late game, we can go pounding in conjunction with Brine Giant to outlast our opponents. Pious Wayfarer is actually great for incidental damage during the course of the game.

Alright, Sideboard Power Round. Eel Umbra is a great save spell that can double as a finishing blow, Grim Guardian can be a win con against turbo-fog or can be a stall-breaker, Hubris is a weird hybrid Save spell and Remove Enchantments but is a great spell in the right circumstance, Kami's Flare is a nice 2 for 1, Lifelink is great in general but better against burn, Rofellos's Gift can save us single-handedly if we get wiped, Tormod's Crypt is a great response to a graveyard deck, Tranquil Domain can be a wipe that keeps our stuff alive, and if we are side-ing in expensive auras Transcendent Envoy can keep them cheap.

Thank you for reading, and hopefully this was (not) worth a +1, and keep Removing Enchantments!

-Cya.
