A very creature forward Varolz deck.

Deck overview Show

I recently redid the deck and took out cards that I felt where more often then not useless when I had them. The goal is to play round with this deck, and fine tune it throughout playing. Currently it's running a very limited amount of enchantments, and artifacts because I want to run more creatures to test and see what ones are must haves, and what ones feel lack luster. Once I get that sorted out I'll drop some creatures in favor of more interaction, enchantments, and artifacts.

Current creature thoughts. There is a simple list of cards I pretty much know I'm not taking out. - All mana dorks, Brawn, Corpsejack Menace, both daemogoth creatures, Death's Shadow, Eternal Witness, Golgari Grave-Troll, Lotleth Troll, Nyxathid, Old Stickfingers, the pair of dinos Phyrexian Soulgorger and Rotting Regisaur, Shakedown Heavy, Skullbriar, the Walking Grave, and Vengevine, as all of those have been in my deck long enough that through out my testing they are good and usable any time I see them. Some I'll actively search out, while others I'm never disappointed to see.

Other creatures are ether new adds, or I'm debating on their usefulness compared to the new adds. I'm close to cutting Myr Superion, Rot Farm Skeleton, and Dreg Mangler as I feel they are falling behind where I want the deck to be. The creature with power/toughness = X, I pulled them out a while back, but recently looked into the ruling and found that they retain their power/toughness in the grave. I added them back to see how they play.

I both love and hate Sarulf, Realm Eater, as he seems like a synergistic way to board wipe, then I can pile more counters on him and use him as defense and offense, only problem is I ether end up milling him, or by the time I have him Lotleth Troll is already armed with many counters, and would die to the big bad wolf clearing the field. Let me know what your thoughts are on this wolf, I'm really leaning towards cutting him, and adding something else in his place, like a regular board wipe or something that would be useful all the time.

I know the lands needs work, but that'll be the last thing I fix, currently I almost never have an issue with to little lands, or the wrong color so I don't see a need to fix it right now. That being said the expensive lands I do have I ether borrowed form another deck or in the case of Boseiju, Who Endures I pulled it and was able to add it to the deck.

I'm also looking for better interaction, I wanna adjust my instants and cut a few sorcery cards. Let me know what cards you would add for interaction. I was thinking a few more kill spells, and maybe that board wipe I was talking about just a moment ago.

As for enchantments, I'm going to cut out Grave Betrayal at some point and adjust the enchantments. I have a few I was thinking about, but don't have a lot of ways to get them out of the graveyard so I'd like to keep it fairly light, same with the artifacts. I was thinking of adding in some mana rocks, but I honestly don't think this deck needs much. I just added Conduit of Worlds cause I pulled one, and more often than not a few lands make it to the graveyard.
