Tergrid is my favorite commander in Kaldheim. I have a special place in my heart for mono-black and she really embodies all of the great, fun, and evil qualities of that color. Discard and Sacrifice is the name of the game. Hopefully you have a forgiving playgroup that you are good friends with (or they are strangers that you won't play with again).

Make them sac creatures and materialize them onto your side of the board. Whip out Mindslicer, then sac it to make them discard their hand. Or, block with Phyrexian Obliterator and then add insult to injury by stealing the permanents that they had to sacrifice. For some really good fun, equip Sword of Feast and Famine to Tergrid, God of Fright  . Smack the opponent, make them discard, untap your lands and then finish your turn with Dark Deal. Watch the opponents permanents desert their team and come over to yours. If you still have friends after playing this deck you might not be playing it right!

Our commander will tend to draw a lot of hate in the form of spot removal. To help protect ourselves we have Imp's Mischief, Lightning Greaves, and Malakir Rebirth  .

If your commander does get got have no fear. Cabal Coffers, Cabal Stronghold, and Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx can help us pay plenty of commander tax if needed. Of course they also are great for a big fat Torment of Hailfire.

Possessed Portal will mess up card draw for everyone but if you have Necropotence you don't have to worry about that. Even if you have to discard because of your own effects you'll always have plenty of gas.

All in all this deck is extreme fun (for the person playing it). If you try it out please let me know how it goes and how your relationships end up. Card suggestions are welcome!
