Welcome to The Hidden Cavern of Velis Vel - The Kingdom of endless creature type cheats and synergies!

The main gameplan of this deck is to:

1/ Ramp as fast as possible thanks to Chrome Mox , Sol Ring , Lotus Petal , Birds of Paradise , Manaweft Sliver , Gemhide Sliver , Priest of Titania , Carpet of Flowers and thanks to other rocks and stuff

2/ As soon as posible tutor the Skyshroud Poacher or the Seahunter using one of many tutor cards included in the deck

3/ Activate the tutoring ability of Skyshroud Poacher or Seahunter to find and enter the battlefield an Elf or an Merfolk - In this case the Elf or Merfolk is a changelling Morophon, the Boundless

4/ Say the Slivers are the creature type of Morophon, the Boundless . So they get +1/+1 and are WUBRG less to cast. Then ussualy on turn trhree or four you could cast your Commander Sliver Overlord for free.

5/ Try to make some other mana cheats using few combos as:

• infinite colorless mana Zirda, the Dawnwaker + Basalt Monolith

• infinite any color mana Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter

• lots of green mana Priest of Titania + Mirror Entity or Shields of Velis Vel + other creatures

• lots of any color mana Manaweft Sliver or Gemhide Sliver + other slivers and Changelings

• 7 colorless mana Energy Tap + Morophon, the Boundless

• lots of treasures Windfall + Hullbreacher or Smothering Tithe

• make your activated abillities cheaper thanks to Zirda, the Dawnwaker , Biomancer's Familiar or Training Grounds

6/ Activate many times the Sliver Overlord first ability to tutor the cascading The First Sliver and then other Slivers or changellings or changelling instants and cast them with cascade and more or less free thanks to Morophon, the Boundless . Or manipulate the creature type of your opponent's creatures using Shields of Velis Vel , Wings of Velis Vel , Blades of Velis Vel or Amoeboid Changeling and then get control of them.

7/ Make an army of slivers/changelings, give them flying and haste thanks to Cloudshredder Sliver , boost them with Mirror Entity and KILL your opponents

The rest of the deck is basicaly focused to control of the game. Counterspells, spot removals and so on. Many of them are instantly tutorable via the included creaturetype tutors.

TIPS: You can use your Seahunter to tutor and put on the battlefield any changeling or a real Merfolk in instant speed. This is esspecially nice with Hullbreacher or Prime Speaker Zegana

You can use your Skyshroud Poacher to tutor and put on the battlefield any changeling or a real Elf. For example to find Frilled Mystic and counter a spell "from your library".

Lin Sivvi, Defiant Hero is great to reanimate many of your changelings or tutor them

Maskwood Nexus is obviously an OP card in this deck.

P.S.: This deck is definetly not very easy to pilot. You have to know it well to get the best out of the cards. Anyway it is great fun to play it - every game is different and in some point of the game you basicaly have an access to almost half of cards in your library in instant speed. Therefore you are able to find many answers easily.
