The goal is simple, dig into your combo. Play your Combo. Protect your combo. Win the Game.

The main combo is a Nexus of Fate infinite turns loop.

The easiest combo to assemble is to attach a Mystical Tutor to an Isochron Scepter and fish for Nexus of Fate with 9 mana to loop over and over again.

This can also be done with looping casting a Nexus of Fate and then playing Mystical Tutor with Rashmi being out, in response to her trigger, you grab a Season's Past with the Mystical Tutor, putting it on the top (this should only be done while having a Merchant Scroll in the graveyard or a Solve the Equation.) With the Season's Past casting for free off of Rashmi's trigger, you can grab the tutors (Merchant Scroll and Mystical Tutor) from the graveyard, you tutor Nexus of Fate up with the Merchant Scroll (or if you have another mana available you can do this with Solve the Equation) then you do this over and over again on the other turns. I believe you need 10 to 11 mana to do this.

As you can tell, the combo is expensive which is why disruption is your friend. When and where you disrupt your opponents is crucial to whether or not you win the game. Practice makes perfect, and that's what I like about this deck, it does require some skill to get good at, and knowing when to let your opponents slide with their plays is an important skill to have in a Control Deck. Some of the disruption as I mentioned can be changed for more efficient spells, but I have had fun with this list at the meta I play in.

Why Are You In Love With Suspend Card's And Top Deck Manipulation?!?!

Have you ever wanted to play the Power 9 in Commander but are sad that most cards are banned. No problem, put your Power 9 on layaway with suspend or simply cheat them into play.

With Rashmi you can cast a simple cantrip and as a bonus get a Moxen, basically cast Ancestral Recall, or a Black Lotus.

*The most important sentence to say when piloting this deck is "In response to Rashmi's trigger". Here are some examples:

"In response to Rashmi's trigger I cast- Mystical Tutor, Worldly Tutor, Natural Selection, Brainstorm, 'crack' Brainstone, 'crack' Misty Rainforest getting a Mystic Sanctuary (if you have three islands in play), Reclaim, Noxious Revival

Also on another note, using Elvish Spirit Guide while tapped out to cast Avoid Fate, come on, that's just great!
