Description in progress...

The idea behind this list was to build a deck that had several possible commanders/commander pairings. With all the partner commanders from Commander Legends, I thought, wouldn't it be fun to throw ten of them in the same deck and choose a different two every game? Well, turns out that some of them are much better than others (who'd have thought?), and in making and playtesting the list I've had to narrow it down to 3 main commanders...

Commanders:

Ardenn, Intrepid Archaeologist + Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh :

Pros:

-This is the most aggressive out of these commanders/commander pairings. Rograkh coming down for free turn one and Ardenn on turn three means we can get going really fast.

-Having Ardenn in the command zone means we can play powerhouse equipments like Colossus Hammer and Argentum Armor , which by themselves make Rograkh a big threat.

- Rograkh already has menace and trample, so even without cards like Trailblazer's Boots or Sword of Feast and Famine he can often connect with opponents.

-Since our commanders have such low mana value, we are a little more resilient against creature removal.

Cons:

-The main disadvantage of this commander pairing is that neither Rograkh nor Ardenn do anything by themselves. We have no form of card advantage or damage buff in the command zone, and so we rely partly on luck-of-the-draw to provide us with the resources we need.

-Because of this, this commander pairing is more likely to run out of resources than the other two.

When playing this commander pairing, cut Akiri, Line-Slinger , Sigarda's Aid , and Hammer of Nazahn , and add Wyleth , Bruse , and The Ardenn Package (see Maybeboard) to the deck.

Akiri, Line-Slinger + Bruse Tarl, Boorish Herder :

Pros:

- Akiri and Bruce's primary advantage over Rograkh and Ardenn is that they both do something by themselves. What they lose in aggression, they make up for in consistency.

- Akiri's self-buff effect can be extremely powerful, especially with treasure makers .

-On top of that, guaranteed double strike in the command zone is very beneficial. These two effects alone can produce quite a lot of damage.

- Bruce giving lifelink can gain a lot of life, which can be important against creature-based decks.

Cons:

-Without Ardenn equipments are quite a bit harder to equip, and the deck gets going slower. It also means that removal sets us back a little more, as we have to both replay the creature and re-equip the equipments.

-Unlike Rograkh , Akiri has no form of natural evasion. Because of this, cards that give evasion are much more important, and I often find myself needing to tutor for them.

When playing this commander pairing, cut Rograkh, Son of Rohgahh , and add Ardenn , Wyleth , and The Bruse Package (see Maybeboard) to the deck.

Wyleth, Soul of Steel :

Pros:

- Wyleth provides steady, consistent card draw. Card draw being one of the things that this color combination lacks the most, this effect is very important.

-So, Wyleth offers the most consistency out of these three commander pairings. Give him just 1 equipment and you've got yourself a Phyrexian Arena . Give him 3 and you've got... a lot of cards. This is his one and only pro, and it's a very powerful one.

Cons:

-Wyleth is the slowest of the three.

When playing this commander, cut Rograkh and Akiri , and add Ardenn , Bruse , and The Wyleth Package (see Maybeboard) to the deck.
