A fun, but competitive aggro deck for 2-3 player games.

The goal is to abuse cards like Phytoburst or Giant Growth and Assault Strobe or Temur Battle Rage for double strike trampling creatures for 16 + damage as soon as turn 2 or 3.

Arena Athlete and Shinen of Life's Roar give us indirect evasion, while almost every other creature has Trample naturally, making sure most, if not all, of our damage gets through.

Everything in the deck costs one, or two, mana, this is to focus on the early game and win quickly, as the lack of removal, or permanent threats, can mean trouble after turns 5 or 6. This also allows to to build up and alpha strike on turn 4 if the combo isn't available on turns two or three, waiting 3 turns to play out and win isn't such a bad trade, at most they'll have one or two small creatures to block your 20+ trample damage, if they're even allowed to block in the first place!

The budget is another reason I really like this deck, optimized price on TCG player, including the sideboard, but without lands, came out to about $10. It's so cheap I'd have to buy other cards with this deck just to get them to ship it, as none of the stores it pulled from had more than $1 in their cart.

The sideboard here is just a quick throw together collection of answers to common threats, keeping the mana (and card) cost at an extreme low. This can be suited to your needs, and if you're running casual/legacy you may consider Hull Breach over Naturalize, though there are certainly other changes that could be made in the switch to another format, and/or, a higher budget.

Feedback is welcome but this deck is running pretty tight, and keeping it under $10-12 really adds to the effect of this deck for me.

Suggestions

Updates Add

Built the sideboard to contain some basic common threats, tweaked the creature base and buff spells to maximize the chances of a turn 3 win, toyed with upping the budget for some fancy dual lands , but decided against it, also toyed with going full legacy and adding taunting elves and some older utility lands, but again, kept it simple and on budget.

Still welcoming suggestions, but all in all I'm very happy with this deck and it's capabilities, no sense in dropping 200 dollars to overhaul it when it isn't going to get much more efficient or straightforward than it already is.
