This is a themed deck around pets. I tried saying in some confines. For example there is a unicorn in the deck because I imagine people having unicorns as pets if they could. I tried not going crazy and putting every dragon in. There are other cards that are referred to being pets in their flavor texts that I thought were funny so I threw them in there. It was also fun doing research on pets around the world, such as beetles being "popular" pets in Japan. There are loads of cats and dogs I wanted to throw into the deck, but the truth being, I had to make room. Rambunctious Mutt for example was really hard for me to leave out because it has such great art and flavor text. Arachnogensis and Frogify are for spiders and frogs. Obviously I couldn't cover everything though. Still it was an incredibly hard deck to build and yet obsessively fun.
