One of the decks that caught my attention in modern was skred red. using snow permanents to get a disgusting a mount of value from the spell skred and using boros reckoner to deal all that damage directly to the dome is a creative deck idea I fell in love with. In pauper we need to splash for a similar effect in Binding Agony , Ragged Veins , and Spiteful Shadows . In modern, Skred enlists the help of bloodmoon to starve manabases. Lucky for us we have fairly good LD in Pauper as well as useful enchantments that will either break their color fixing or punish them for tapping in the first place such as Stone Rain , Evil Presence , Contaminated Ground Rancid Earth .A downside to this deck is due to the appearance and appeal of skred in modern, Snow covered mountains are a bit pricey, and until wizards reprints them. The deck won't be as cheap as it could be.

EDIT:1 took the suggestion to cut the witches for now in favor of more lands. The gain lands are slow but they fix and give me some more longevity.

EDIT: 2 God I can't count. Cuombajj witches added back for a cheap early drop that can hold back early threats.
