My gain, your ... (Modern MTG Deck)

I liked the idea of maxing out the lifegain/drain effects. Looking for big splash lifegains here while enabling the reciprocal drain through Vizkopa Guildmage or Defiant Bloodlord a bit later in.

Rhox Faithmender , Sunspring Expedition, & Elixir of Immortality are the biggies to bring em down quick.

Souls of the Faultless helps keep the opponent at bay, and can potentially add a big bang as well.

Children of Korlis I also liked to pick me up after Damnable Pact ... especially if there is a Defiant Bloodlord & Rhox Faithmender on the board. Also good after other big attacks.

Vampire's Bite on an opponents attacking creature even if I'm in position to throw it back at them.

I'de thought of Kytheon, Hero of Akros but too rich for my blood. :)
