Below is my Meren list, a powerful deck which I've modified much over the years and grown quite fond of. There are many approaches to building Meren, and I have opted here for a non-combo dredge build that can build incredible value over time until your opponents just can't put up a fight any more. For those looking for an excellent introduction to the Dredge build for Meren, I'd highly recommend the Meren episode of the Command Zone podcast where Alex Kessler explains his build. A lot of great cards have come out since then and this build reflects that, but Kessler's basic approach to the deck is still unparalleled in my estimation. I'd also highly recommend the excellent primer here on tappedout by control_train, as my build is quite similar to his in ethos even though our lists differ in some points. I've opted to avoid the combo approach for Meren not because I am philosophically opposed to combos (which I have in spades in my Inalla deck), but simply because when I do run combos I want the pieces to be individually useful on their own, and I can't stand running cards like Triskelion that are straight up bad except for comboing off. Its far better to wear them down until you can drain them out with a high quality aristocrat or overwhelm them with an army of field of the dead generated zombies and other value creatures. The expansive suite of high-quality tutors and powerful control and recurring value creatures make this deck a powerhouse that is hard to stop.
