so, as soon as I saw the precon for Mizzix of the Izmagnus, I knew that Epic Experiment was going into that deck. as was Mind's Desire. and then I started digging around for ways to keep this combo up and running. anything that added mana (like Spell Swindle, Brass's Bounty, Inner Fire were my winners there, but Turnabout and Reality Spasm helped by untapping lands), copied spells (ended up settling on Reiterate, Insidious Will, and Primal Amulet  ), extra turns ala Beacon of Tomorrows and Time Stretch, and lots of "cheap" draw - ie, cards that drew a great deal compared to their colored mana.

Toss in some control, token generation, and graveyard recursion, and the deck basically writes itself.
