Use the general to deal excess damage while keeping your board

Repercussion and Toralf, God of Fury   can help with killing our opponents while we wipe the board.

The equipments, Emerge Unscathed, Bastion Protector, and Mark of Asylum help keep the general alive during the board wipes.

Why no Sword of War and Peace? Incase Mother of Runes needs to protect an equipped creature

Use Sunforger to tutor up answers like Chaos Warp and Generous Gift

Future Swaps:

Satyr Firedancer might go in over Dictate of the Twin Gods. This is a completely different effect but I don't like the idea of my opponents doubling damage. Another consideration would be Fire Servant.

Boros Charm over Deflecting Palm or Orim's Thunder. This might help protect my creatures against my own board wipes or act as a nice hit to the face of an opponent.

Fault Line may replace Acidic Soil. Hits both non flying creatures and players.
