I liked General Kudro of Drannith and his kit. He gives anthem, removal, and graveyard hate all for a total of 5 mana. 3 to cast and 2 to sacrifice and remove a big creature. So, I decided to make a Human tribal deck. It was difficult trying to narrow all the cards down to 100. The creatures gave me the hardest time. But, once the dust settled, we have this as a result. Almost every creature synergizes with every other creature. In other words, they build off each other like slivers.

For example: General's Enforcer gives your Legendary Humans indestructible, Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart gives an anthem effect AND two abilities to all Humans, Commissar Severina Raine encourages attacking while also giving you a draw outlet. Have all three out at ounce, Commissar Severina Raine becomes a 5/5 indestructible with First Strike, Vigilance, or Lifelink, Greymond, Avacyn's Stalwart becomes a 6/7 indestructible with the same chosen abilities, and our fearless leader General Kudro of Drannith becomes a 5/5 indestructible with the same chosen abilities. In short, if left alone, these little humans can get pretty intimidating pretty quickly.

I am excited to see how this deck works out. I tried keeping the CMC relatively low and I am pleased that most of these cards are on the cheaper side. So, an IRL version of this deck seems very feasible without dropping $1k for 100 pieces of cardboard. Let me know what you think! Check out my other decks if you'd like! I got a ton xD

HUGE OVERHAWL INCOMING

I took this deck list and asked for some suggestions at a local card store and boy did they come back with a boat load of card ideas. Below I'll list each card taking out and put in with a brief explanation of why and I'll try to be brief xD

Out Column -

Angelic Overseer - cool ability but doesn't provide anything outside of itself. Gideon Blackblade - Is decent, but Gideon, Martial Paragon offers a free attack and untap all creatures. Behind the Scenes - Skulk is fun but it doesnt synergize with anthem builds. Bruna, the Fading Light ^Meld - expensive and difficult to pull off the Meld. Gisela, the Broken Blade ^Meld - I want to pull off this Meld but these two cards don't fit the Human Typal I'm going after here. Celestine, the Living Saint - great ability but lifegain isn't the focus here. Clackbridge Troll - Not typal. Good value. Just not enough to keep. Falkenrath Torturer - Not a lot of death triggers or Sac synergies to keep. Forge, Neverwinter Charlatan - cool ability but doesnt quite fit with the rest of the deck Gilraen, Dunedain Protector - fun bounce ability but you have to pay for it, and it seems too conditional. Gothmog, Morgul Lieutenant - Amass doesn't work here and Company Commander allows for all creatures to have deathtouch instead of just tokens. Increasing Devotion - Nice, but too expensive. Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia - this just gave me a free 2/2 zombie. For Human typal it didn't fit King Macar, the Gold-Cursed - LOVE this ability. But I don't have many ways of untapping him outside of combat. Orzhov Cluestone - I can sacrifice Commander's Sphere for free for that card draw. Skirsdag Flayer - too expensive of an ability for removal Skirsdag High Priest - it's a good card if theres a guaranteed death each turn. This doesn't have it. Teysa Karlov - Not a lot of death triggers to maximize this version of Teysa Wedding Announcement ^Flip - Fun idea and possibly useful. But better cards provide better value. Reverent Hoplite - devotion may be a bit shaky. I just didn't know how consistently useful this would be in playthroughs. Stroke of Midnight - Generous Gift is just better.

In Column -

Gideon, Martial Paragon - better value coming from a Gideon planeswalker. Champion of the Parish - cheap and can get strong real fast. Company Commander - gives me tokens and deathtouch on attack. It feels like a better Gothmog, Morgul Lieutenant. Drannith Magistrate - some control never hurt anyone. especially if we lock out opponents commanders. Esper Sentinel - card draw AND he's a human which can benefit from the anthems we provide. Grand Abolisher - guaranteed no counter spells during our turn. Big Value. Mangara, the Diplomat - card draw card draw card draw. Mother of Runes - added protection OR free damage on attacking. Pitiless Plunderer - more death more mana. Roaming Throne - double trigger abilities for all humans. Syr Konrad, the Grim - nice death trigger and life ping for opponents. Teysa, Orzhov Scion - token generator AND removal. Thalia, Heretic Caller - more control to slow down opponents' board states. Zulaport Cutthroat - nice life ping. Commander's Sphere - same mana value as Orzhov Cluestone but I can sac the sphere for free for card draw. Akroma's Will - strong card and potential game ender. Flawless Maneuver - good get-out-of-jail-free card. Teferi's Protection - White command color staple. Must need protection. Unbreakable Formation - good protection against boardwipes and added value on your attack phase. Farewell - good board wipe, great counter against hexproof/indistructible. Bastion of Remembrance - Another life ping. Synergizes well with the rest of the deck. Smothering Tithe - another White command color staple. The more players casting spells, the more value this card gives us.
