Time Walk - 7 Balance - 1 Dig Through Time - 1 Treasure Cruise - 1

This is a planeswalker-based tap-out control deck. On the first few turns, use cantrips to set up draws, cheap interaction to keep the board clear, and ramp to power out walkers early. In the mid to late game, take over with planeswalkers and extra turn spells. There are a few wraths if necessary to stabilize the board as well. You can win with token beatdown, drawing four cards a turn, or a walker whose ult is effectively a win button.

In general, there are three ways planeswalkers can protect themselves: plus abilities that make tokens, minus abilities that remove creatures, or high starting loyalty. Those with minus abilities tend to be the most fragile; you can cast Gideon, Ally of Zendikar or Narset Transcendent into two 3/1s profitably, but not Chandra, Torch of Defiance . Sequence so that your walkers and single-target removal line up well against your opponent's creatures.

A note on Balance : There's a very awkward tension here, because I'm typically ahead on both cards and lands. However, the rate at which Balance kills creatures is just so high that I feel priced into including it. Once I have an engine set up, the cards don't matter much vs aggressive decks, which is where I want to be Balancing anyway.
