Welcome to the 9th Extreme Budget deck, a collection of Clues and cards to figure them out or benefit off of them. In the front of the investigation is Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix, leading your questions forward.

This deck is based loosely on Clue tokens, and using them to draw cards, cast improvise spells, or sacrifice to other abilities. Kydele, Chosen of Kruphix is the commander because of the colors, ramp effect, and benefits she gets from cracking clues.

Types of Cards

Ramp: Mostly artifacts, as there are some artifact synergies because of clues, but anything that provides mana is useful.

Clues: The cards the deck is based around, the better of the cards from SOI that generate Clues in Simic colors.

Tokens: Another part of the deck, these few cards can generate quite a lot of creature tokens at once or over time.

Drawer: More cards other than Clues that give you card advantage.

Bonus: Any card that benefits off of Clues or Tokens, whether it be through affinity, drawing cards, or extra sacrifice outlets.

Notable Cards

- Dispersing Orb : Instead of drawing cards, use clues to bounce other stuff.

• Erdwal Illuminator: There are only so many clue cards, so doubling their abilities really helps.

• Fangren Marauder : 1 Clue, 5 Life. 15 Clues, 75 Life.

• Lodestone Myr : Why not create a 10/10 before drawing cards, at no charge?

• Quicksmith Spy : Tap instead of Sac to draw a card.

• Renowned Weaponsmith + Soldevi Machinist + Vedalken Engineer : Tap to Sac a Clue and draw a card.

• Rowen : By splitting up the investigations over your opponents' turns, draw up to 100% more cards!

• Tamiyo's Journal: Investigating all the time, and tutoring when possible.

• Whirler Rogue: "I'll tap my 8 clues, and give my 4 5/5s unblockable. You go to 20."
