Sorcery (1)

Enchantment (1)

Creature (1)

Zombies and Demons, on a budget.

The name of the game here is synergy. Kill stuff, sacrifice stuff, reanimate stuff. Draw cards and poop tokens while you do it.

Looking for suggestions, but keeping this on a tight budget, Right now I can get the lot for around 50-60 dollars, if I take a hit on card conditions for some of the pricier cards ahem Demonic Tutor

Play cheap zombies to block and build devotion, eventually reanimating or hardcasting some nasty demons, We have draw, ramp, card search, blink, and direct damage, all at our disposal.

Ashnod's Altar
An excellent sac outlet for our weak creatures, and gives us the mana to cast BIG creatures early on, or a mid to late game Exsanguinate for the win. Not to mention the dying creatures will trigger multiple effects such as Butcher of Malakir and Ogre Slumlord, Harvester of Souls, Grim Haruspex, Dark Prophecy.

Card DrawDrawing in this deck will be extremely helpful, letting us find our wincons faster. To help this we have heavy synergy in the form of Indulgent Tormentor , Dark Prophecy, Grim Haruspex, Phyrexian Arena, harvester of sorrow, Disciple of Bolas, and Necromancer's Stockpile, along with one off draws such as Ambition's Cost, Sign in Blood, Read the Bones, Barren Moor, and Polluted Mire.

Conjurer's Closet
It may seem out of place at first glance, but in conjunction with Abhorrent Overlord or Gray Merchant of Asphodel can be wincon in and of itself. Other fun bounces include Overseer of the Damned, Rune-Scarred Demon, Sepulchral Primordial, Fleshbag Marauder, Overseer of the Damned, and Disciple of Bolas.

Mana A straightforward mana base of Swamps and utility lands, with mana rocks such as Sol Ring, Caged Sun, Charcoal Diamond, and Worn Powerstone. Supplemented by cards like Priest of Gix and, of course, Ashnod's Altar

RemovalPlenty of Removal opportunities here, from staples such as Murder, Asphyxiate , and Geth's Verdict, to creature effects from Fleshbag Marauder, Butcher of Malakir, Reaper from the Abyss, Demon of Wailing Agonies and Overseer of the Damned.

Tokens Once on the field, tokens will be your ace in the hole when you're down to the end game. With all of the creatures dying and being sacrificed, cards like Ogre Slumlord, Abhorrent Overlord, Army of the Damned, Overseer of the Damned,Skirsdag High Priest, and Dread Summons will flood the field, giving us fodder for Disciple of Bolas and Ashnod's Altar as well as cheap blockers that can trigger other effects such as Butcher of Malakir and will sac all by themselves for a flashback'd Dread Return

Updates Add

Now have all the pieces for this and it's been assembled, runs semi-smoothly, though may be adjusting mana-base as well as some of the lower cost sacrificial targets, I'm looking for a good target for Unearth in particular. It's a blast when it gets rolling, with excellent creature control and recovery. Will also take any suggestions on more consistent lifegain, aside from Whip of Erebos, to even out lifeloss due to draw effects, If anything I may need to cut some draw.

Lemme know what you think, keep it cheap and simple, this decks recursion and synergy is what makes it so fun, no need for broken 4 piece infinite combo's, though I can get at least one going just by adding a Nim Deathmantle
