Tired of being countered? Tired of having your creatures killed? Tired of control decks running Blue, Black or White? Than this is the deck for you. Make. Blue. Cry.

The best and most unique aspect of Blue is the ability to counter spells. Thanks to blue, we as players have to ask "Does it resolve?" every time we play a card. The first step to making Blue cry is to nullify counter-cards. That means looking for unpreventable damage. Instants and sorceries that can be countered, or be useful if redirected have been minimized.

The next step in making Blue cry is to make sure anything blue is good at can be punished. Example: Blue is good at drawing cards, but Blue is punished for drawing cards when Stormbreath Dragon gets monstrous. Cards like Gaea's Revenge , Sylvan Caryatid and everything with protection from blue, will resist Blue's attempts at creature removal.
