The inspiration of this deck came about when i pulled Vampire Nocturnus. I created this deck to encompass my idea of what a Mono-Black Vampire Deck should be. The Idea of Drinking Blood and Death Comes to mind, so Lifegain and Removal were going to be the backbone of this deck. Child of Night and Vampire Nighthawk are definite staples, along with Blood Artist. Pair these with some cheap removal like Feast of Blood and Tragic Slip, and nothing will stand in your way. The other side of this deck is its strength in numbers. that's why I added cards like Door of Destinies and Obelisk of Urd.
