Welcome to Beledros lands! This deck took shape around three of my favorite Golgari cards: Cadaverous Bloom, Squandered Resources, and Grim Feast. After theory-crafting multiple lists (including a Pre-Modern Tasigur list inspired by the old Pros Bloom decks) I finally realized that Beledros Witherbloom was exactly the commander I had been searching for all this time!

Like Beledros's activated ability, this is very much a high-risk, high-reward build. The aim is to try and fly under the radar, or stave off an early death with a well-timed Crop Rotation into Glacial Chasm or gain incremental life with Grim Feast and Courser of Kruphix, until you can go for an extremely explosive turn leveraging the insane mana advantages that Squandered and Bloom provide.

There are multiple ways to draw a ridiculous amount of cards to fuel this game-ending play: whether it's turning all of your lands into creatures with Life // Death then sacking them to a Plunder the Forbidden, or making a ton of clues with Tireless Tracker and sacking those all at once to Reprocess (along with any zombies Field of the Dead made). Once we have half of our deck in hand, we can then turn those cards straight into mana with Bloom and end the game with Exsanguinate, or even a targeted Damnable Pact, if we haven't killed our opponents already with Vito, Zulaport, or Retreat to Hagra.

You can see from my Maybeboard that there are a lot of ways to take this deck. I subbed out one of my favorite Generals, Mazirek, to focus on a straight-drain strategy (Erebos definitely helps in this regard to keep other players trying to gain life in check), and I'm sure there are better removal/draw packages available.
