Astral Steel is one of the few storm cards in pauper that are legal to play, this storm card doesn't do much and sits at 3 mana making for an awkward storm card. However in combination with Akroan Crusader, Astral Steel makes for a decent storm option. As it forms a neat little synergy package, however this deck is a little on the pricy side, due to the need for Lotus Petal. :(
