War of the Spark may have actually made possible, if you are lucky enough to grab the new cards needed, to play a tier 1 modern deck on a relatively low budget. Basically we are replacing the unreasonably expensive cards ( Karn Liberated , Ugin, the Spirit Dragon and, to a less extent, Wurmcoil Engine )) in favour of the new Karn and Ugin, and more heavy on Walking Ballista and Thragtusk on the mainboard.

In addition, I've taken out the two most expensive cards in the sideboard ( Mycosynth Lattice and Ensnaring Bridge ) for cute alternatives for the Karn's toolbox in the form of God-Pharaoh's Statue (I've put one in the main too because I trully think the card is underrated) and Liquimetal Coating or Pacification Array .

Don't get me wrong, this version is still worse than the conventional one, but I think the gap is not too big, and the general plan still remains the same and in fairly efficient fashion.
